Public BBQ Rules & Facilities
Campbelltown City Council has 76 parks with BBQs at Thorndon Park (Paradise) - the most accessible and inclusive park featuring 8 double electric BBQs, 30+ picnic tables, historic reservoir and all-inclusive play space. Also at Gurners Reserve, Playford Road Reserve, and Nightingale Reserve.
Charcoal BBQs are permitted except on fire ban days.
Hot ash disposal bins are available for safe disposal.
During Total Fire Ban days, all BBQs (including electric) at Thorndon Park are turned off.
BBQs are free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis.
Important: On fire ban days, all electric BBQs will be turned off.
Large sheltered pavilion and smaller shelter with picnic tables available for public use at Thorndon Park.
