Redland City Council has BBQ facilities at parks and reserves throughout the Redlands Coast region, including island locations.

Can I bring my own BBQ to parks in Redland?

<p>During <strong>Local Fire Bans</strong> in Queensland:</p><ul><li><strong>Gas and electric BBQs</strong> are permitted</li><li><strong>Charcoal, wood-fired and heat bead BBQs</strong> are prohibited</li></ul><p>Check the <a href="https://www.fire.qld.gov.au/safety-education/using-fire-outdoors/fire-bans-and-restrictions">Queensland Fire Department website</a> for current fire bans.</p>

Can I book a BBQ facility for exclusive use?

<p>Pre-book a council park, reserve or beach to avoid clashes with other events.</p><p><strong>When booking is required:</strong></p><ul><li>Parties with <strong>50+ attendees</strong></li><li>Entertainment activities operated by a business (jumping castle, pony rides, etc.)</li></ul><p><strong>Fees:</strong></p><ul><li>General gatherings (50 or less): Free</li><li>Events (fairs, concerts, markets): $233/day</li><li>Ceremonies: $47/hour</li></ul><p><strong>Note:</strong> Exclusive use of undercover areas and BBQ facilities cannot be guaranteed.</p>
