Waverley Council - Public BBQ Rules & Facilities in New South Wales

Waverley Council has BBQs at Bondi Park, Tamarama Park and other reserves. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of playgrounds and public BBQs.

At Bondi Park: No charcoal, solid fuel BBQs or open fires permitted.

Only gas or electric portable BBQs are allowed, subject to fire restrictions.

Informal gatherings up to 50 people maximum do not require a booking.

Formal events, weddings, and corporate functions require approval via "Use of public spaces" application.
