Hornsby has BBQs at Fagan Park (55ha) and Galston Recreation Reserve (main shelter accommodates up to 100 people). Weddings and events can be hosted at various park locations.

Book venues via the council website. Events on parks and sportsgrounds require an application plus $20 million public liability insurance.
Community BBQ Trailer: Free for charity/community events. Available up to 3 times per 6 months (not on consecutive weekends). Requires $250 deposit plus public liability insurance.
