Blacktown has 70+ electric BBQs in Western Sydney Parklands, all free and first-come-first-served. Nurragingy Reserve features wood-fired BBQs with council-supplied firewood.

Can I bring my own BBQ to parks in Blacktown?

<p><strong>Gas BBQs are welcome.</strong></p><p>At Lizard Log and Bungarribee: Heat-bead and charcoal BBQs must use designated BBQ stations on concrete platforms. Dispose of waste in provided bins.</p><p><strong>During Total Fire Ban:</strong> Electric BBQs only.</p>

How do I report a fault or issue with a BBQ facility?

If you encounter issues with a BBQ facility, please report them to Blacktown. Common issues include:

  • Damaged facilities - broken hotplates, damaged tables/shelters
  • Safety hazards - exposed wiring, structural damage
  • Cleanliness issues - excessive grease buildup, vandalism
