KOOMBANA BAY

Public BBQ

Koombana Bay Foreshore is a charming and family-friendly destination with something for everyone. Its expansive sandy beach and tranquil waters make it ideal for a day of relaxation or fun-filled activities. Children are well-catered for with a large playground featuring a flying fox, slides, swings, trampolines, and water play. There's ample parking, and the area is easily accessible for wheelchairs. The bay views are stunning, with the chance to spot wild dolphins if the timing is right. Notable highlights include the Wardandi Boodja, a contemporary corten steel sculpture that pays respect to the Noongar people, and the Dolphins Discovery Centre nearby. Visitors can also enjoy the convenience of a cafe and toilet facilities on site. Koombana Bay Foreshore is an excellent choice for a day out, be it for a picnic, a game of beach volleyball, or simply to soak up the fresh air and beautiful scenery.
