Semaphore Foreshore Reserve is a popular destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The large grassy area provides ample space for running around, playing games, and picnicking. The reserve features a fully fenced undercover playground, a skate park, BBQ facilities, and access to the beach and jetty. Nearby Semaphore Road offers a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants. Public toilets and beachside showers are available for convenience. The area also hosts various festivals and events throughout the year.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
