Public BBQ

It's a beautiful park adjacent to the bowls club with BBQ facilities, shaded seating, and toilet facilities. This is a great park for family outings with its proximity to the fairgrounds, skate park, tennis courts, and beautiful beach. The foreshore reserve is well-maintained and doubles as the venue for a Sunday market. The reserve is also a memorial to soldiers from the Second World War and features lovely lawns, paved walkways, and beautiful pine trees. The reserve has bike racks and dog-poo disposal bags and looks onto a view of Granite Island and the surrounding coastline.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
