TORQUAY BEACH

Public BBQ

Torquay Surf Beach, a jewel along the Great Ocean Road, is a paradise for surfers, from novices to experts. With clean facilities and ample parking, it offers a family-friendly environment with protection from harsh swells. Walking along the beach, you're treated to the view of majestic rocks, and the sunbathing, surfing, and swimming activities make time fly. w The changing seasons lend a different charm each time, but constants like the ocean, friendly locals, and enjoyable walks make the experience consistently delightful. The beach also hosts lookout points and walking tracks, allowing you to take in breathtaking views. It's a dog-friendly beach, and for those interested in marine life, it's a spot to watch for surfers and whales. Note the high crowd influx around 5 to 6 PM, and while the beach can get busy during the summer months, it's less crowded than the main beach.
