SALTWATER RESERVE

Public BBQ

Steeped in tranquility, this coastal haven, once a campground, now invites visitors for relaxing picnics and invigorating swims. Families and friends can enjoy the expansive sandy shores that lend a private beach-like feel. A gentle stroll across the lagoon unveils an endless vista of sand and sea, offering a distinct sense of seclusion. Although camping isn't permitted there's a public BBQ available for outdoor cooking enthusiasts. The beach also caters to surfers, though the local surf crowd can be a tad territorial. Despite these minor drawbacks, the area remains a favorite for holiday getaways. No reservations are typically needed, making it an ideal spontaneous day trip destination.
