MAHONEY MEMORIAL PARK

Public BBQ

Mahoney Park, located in Marrickville by the Cooks River, offers a year-round AFL ground surrounded by shady trees, creating a picturesque setting. The park features a basketball court and is popular among families, with plenty of space for kids to play sports and dogs to run freely in the off-leash area. It also offers new BBQ facilities, a skate park, and graffiti walls for local artists to showcase their talents. While some reviewers mention the need for additional BBQ areas, the park's size ensures it never feels crowded, providing a peaceful environment for relaxation and outdoor activities.
