JW ELLIOTT RESERVE

Public BBQ

The park has a fun playground for kids with a large black steam locomotive to explore. The train is a popular attraction and provides opportunities for kids to use their imaginations and take family photos. There are a few picnic benches and BBQ facilities available. The park is partly fenced with an adjacent paved walkway. Unfortunately, the train has been graffiti-ed before and some visitors have commented on this issue. The Seymour Historical society preserved this locomotive as a memorial to the railway industry and its workers. There are no toilets in the park, but clean facilities can be found within a five-minute walk. Overall, it is a nice place to stop and stretch your legs while enjoying the play area and train.
