This location is an ideal spot for family fun and picnics, with plenty of space and facilities including BBQs, toilets, showers, and a kiosk. There's a diverse range of activities available such as footy, cricket, kite surfing, fishing, and crabbing. The beach is a minute walk away, perfect for swimming or enjoying the sunset. The park also features a playground and is pet-friendly. Parking is ample, though busy in summer, and is close to walking and cycling trails. It's also a great spot for a picnic with numerous shaded areas and gazebos.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
