FRENCHMANS BAY RESERVE

Public BBQ

Frenchmans Bay Reserve is a popular spot with mixed reviews. Many people appreciate its quietness compared to other beaches like Bondi and enjoy the calm waters for swimming. It has a kids' playground, BBQ spots, and grassy areas for picnics, making it a great place for families. There are a few restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as beautiful views and walking paths near Bare Island. However, parking and public toilet facilities are limited, so it is recommended to arrive early or use public transportation to avoid issues. Some visitors have reported broken glass on the sand, which can pose a danger, and there are no lifeguards present at the beach. Overall, it seems like a lovely spot for locals and families, but improvements could be made to make it an even better experience for visitors.
