Public BBQ

Cornelian Bay is a beautiful, picturesque, and clean park that offers a variety of play equipment for children, such as slides, swings, climbing structures, and more. The entire playground is fenced, with seating and shade trees available. There is a kiosk nearby within the Cornelian Bay boathouse that provides snacks and ice cream, as well as public toilets next to the boathouse. The park also features a covered BBQ area and plenty of free parking. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the bay, boat sheds, and the Tasmanian bridge.

You should first check with Hobart council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
