Public BBQ

Como Pleasure Grounds offers a great space for families to relax, have picnics, and enjoy activities. The park features a playground, a beautiful view of the water, and lots of seating areas, BBQ facilities, and restrooms. Visitors can go swimming in the free public swimming pool or in the river, which has shark nets installed. However, parking spots can be limited, and the park can get busy at times.

Aussie public BBQs are simple to use. Majority of sites listed on this website are gas or electric BBQs. Simply press the button and it will turn on for a set amount of time (10-20 minutes).

You should first check with Sutherland council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
