CHARLIE HAMMEL PARK

Public BBQ

Cabbage Tree Point Park is a favored spot due to its serene setting and beautiful drive. While the park isn't unique with its standard swings and slides, it's valued for its beach. Although not the most picturesque, visitors can still enjoy the sand and water. There's plenty of shaded seating and large trees to sit under for a relaxing day out. The park is located near the water, making it a great place for launching small boats or personal watercraft. There's also a playground for kids and a takeaway joint nearby for a quick snack. On busier days, parking can be a challenge due to its popularity among boat owners and fishers. The park could use some maintenance, as litter was an issue during the last visit. Despite its size and the lack of a jetty, it remains a charming place for a family picnic or a day of fishing.
