Happy Valley is a popular beach and park area located on the Sunshine Coast. It offers a variety of amenities and activities for visitors of all ages. The park has ample shaded picnic areas, BBQ facilities, a large grassy reserve, a playground for children, and is adjacent to the beach. Visitors can enjoy swimming, surfing, and other water activities, as well as walking or relaxing along the beach or boardwalk. The park also features clean toilets and parking, although spots can fill up quickly during peak times. Nearby attractions include Kings Beach, Pumicestone Passage, and various shops and eateries. Overall, Happy Valley is a great spot for families, picnics, and outdoor fun.

You should first check with Sunshine Coast council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
